BA (subsequently MA) in Economics from Emmanuel College, Cambridge. Qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986 and subsequently worked for BDO Stoy Hayward. CA Practice established in South Cambridgeshire in 1991 and in Great Shelford since 2002, with a specialism in charity accounting. Currently active in local school and other trusts and in fundraising and development for junior sports, mainly football and cricket. Active member of Amnesty International and Friends of the Earth since 1980.
